Introduction to Maven is a one-day virtual training course that will show you how the lifecycle works as a whole. We designed our introductory course to offer a practical and relevant baseline of knowledge to help teams collaborate more effectively on their Maven projects. We offer a curriculum that's an easy introduction to new users, and an essential refresher for current users. We currently hold private classes for groups of 6 students or more.

Our seasoned trainer, Manfred Moser has scores of Maven classes under his belt. He keeps the curriculum practical, applied and his enthusiasm for taking questions and engaging students ensures that everyone gets the most value from class. Our virtual course provides an opportunity for students to benefit from access to Manfred for the day, as well as valuable discussions with fellow students all from the comfort of their own office.

We aim to deliver as much valuable content, while focusing time on what matters most to you. To keep everything on schedule, Manfred demonstrates the labs via screen share while taking any questions that get raised along the way. It isn't necessary to set up an environments in advance of class. However, if you wish to follow along by doing, instead of just watching --- you'll need to come to class prepared with Java, Maven, and Eclipse.

Your team will receive a course package that includes slides from class and labs that you can work through in your own time after the class and you'll have access to your instructor via email if you have any questions arise during the week following class as you begin to exercise the knowledge you've gained.

Our materials are kept up to date with the latest Maven release, so you can be confident that you are up-to-speed with the very latest Maven has to offer.

• Understand Maven configuration essentials
• Configure and locate dependencies for a project
• Configure plugins to run unit tests
• Create and configure Maven multimodule projects
